I also hope they keep the merchant and the inventory system, its one of the most recognizable RE4 things. I wouldn't like it if the bosses are the exact same formula to beat as the original. I wouldn't mind if some of the enemies were reimagined, things like El Gigante, verdugo, bitores mendez, etc could all be reimagined very differently, changing the boss fights. I would like to feel like I am in a different part of the original castle if that makes sense.įor aesthetics, I hope the weapon upgrades visually change the gun, hell they could even change the guns up, as long as they are still balanced like the originals. For the castle, they should keep the same style as the original, and rework the more memorable areas. They should rework each area, and make the layouts entirely different, hitting key points (first village fight, el gigante, cabin fight, etc) but I would like to play it and not recognize it, hell they should expand sections in between to help mix it up even more. Keeping the cheese doesn't mean you can't have more serious moments, but I don't want a super serious Leon. Considering the advancements made in many FPS style games in the '90s, it was odd to see such a limited game on the much more powerful Playstation system. It has been decided that Leon's a bad enough dude to rescue the President's daughter from a cult.

Kennedy is now working for the government. Six years after Leon's adventure in Raccoon City and its ultimate destruction, the Umbrella Corporation is bankrupt and Leon S. Though they did give the games a more cinematic feel, they were also incredibly disorienting and not in a good way. Resident Evil 4 is the sixth main game in the Resident Evil franchise. Keep the original tone of the game, the cheesiness kind of makes the game. RELATED: 10 Things Only Die-Hard Fans Know About The Resident Evil Games.
